Are apartment attics connected?

I live in an apartment upstairs. Is it possible for someone to go in their attic, crawl over to my side, and come in?

It’s like 12am now, and I keep hearing noises like someone is up there, I’m getting kinda frightened now!

    if its a house that was converted into an appartment, which it sounds like it is, then yes, it probably is connected.

    but, the noises are generally caused by thermal expansion and contraction. the house is hot during the day, and everything expands in size. at night when it starts to cool off it shrinks down, and causes all kinds of creeky noises. the worst part is, these noises tend to be honestly constant and evenly spread out, which always makes it sound like footprints..

    unless you can hear distinct human-like noises, then dont worry bout it.

    if you’d like to preform a test, find a handgun or rifle (automatic works the best) and start firing randomly into the ceiling. if it starts to ooze red, then there was someone up there.

    kidding.

    It might be. Some are, some aren’t.

    Go and check during the daytime. It maybe squirrels or something else.

    After looking, if it is closed off, call the landlord and tell them that you have critters up there.
